If you’re building an app that lives inside your product and needs access tokens for Attio workspaces, configure OAuth so your users can authenticate with Attio. This will let you get access tokens for the Attio workspace the user authenticates with. Attio supports OAuth 2.0 using the Authorization Code Grant Flow (RFC 6749 section 4.1). We recommend using a well-established library for making OAuth requests, because they apply many of the security recommendations added after the original OAuth protocol was released. You can find some library recommendations here. While developing your app will be able to grant tokens for the workspace it is installed in. To get access tokens for other workspaces you’ll need to share your app with those workspaces or publish it. An unpublished app can be installed in up to 25 workspaces.
